JackPalermo(02:25): Look at that. Homemade pastathey have there, which is amazing, home pizza.
BrendanKing(02:30): Every single day they maketheir pasta from scratch.
JackPalermo(02:32): It's awesome.
BrendanKing(02:33): Great food if you've never beenthere. Great wine, honestly great service, great ambiance. All around, it's agreat place. If you haven't been to North Italia, definitely check it out. It'sworth a night out.
JackPalermo(02:44): Super fun atmosphere too.
BrendanKing(02:45): We had an awesome time forsure.
JackPalermo(02:46): It was tons of fun.
BrendanKing(02:48):One of the things that Vegas issuddenly turning into is like a Christmas hotspot.
JackPalermo(02:51): Winter Wonderland.
BrendanKing(02:51): Like winter wonderland, Christmashot spot.
JackPalermo(02:54): Crazy.
BrendanKing(02:55): We've got Enchant down at theballpark, which is beautiful. You've you've checked it recently, right?
JackPalermo (03:01): It's awesome. It was reallycool. The lights are amazing. The little shops for the kids. They have greatcocktails.
BrendanKing(03:08): How did I miss that? I didn'teven see the little shops. I was there for four hours.
JackPalermo(03:11): They're up on the top where allthe vendors are.
BrendanKing(03:14): Oh okay.
JackPalermo(03:14): Yeah, super cool.
BrendanKing(03:15): We didn't wander on the otherside there then. Yeah.
JackPalermo(03:17): Super cool. They got iceskating, which is crazy for the kids and for people that are in shape and don'twant to break their hip, they can do that as well.
BrendanKing(03:28): And Santa is there, of course,which is awesome.
JackPalermo(03:30): Santa's there. Yeah.
BrendanKing(03:32): You had mentioned before, youwere telling me that that Mrs. Claus sits there and reads you a book.
JackPalermo(03:36): She reads you a story.
BrendanKing (03:36): Yeah, that's awesome.
JackPalermo(03:38): You make the parents wait inthe line for Santa and the kids get to go listen to stories.
BrendanKing(03:40):This is a good idea as you'restanding around, there's actually something for the kids to hang out and watch.
JackPalermo(03:47): Yeah, it was really cool. Itwas really cool. They have a little crafting area for the kids. Tickets arestill available. It goes through January 2nd, so please do check that out. It'sprobably the coolest place in Vegas, I think.
BrendanKing(04:01): And not too bad, about 25 to$35. I think in that range, which honestly for how much they have there, asopposed to just getting a $50 picture at the mall.
JackPalermo(04:11): Right.
BrendanKing(04:13): Ice skating, fire pits, crafts,Santa, Mrs. Claus. It's got a cool mix of fun stuff to do for only like $35.
JackPalermo(04:23):Different than the stinky mallSanta.
BrendanKing(04:26): Hey, we had a good one back atGarden State Mall in New Jersey. Anybody else from New Jersey probably wouldagree. We had a killer Santa Claus. Like I swear. There's only one of course,but he was at Garden State Mall.
JackPalermo(04:40): Nice. Whenever he came toChicago, he stank a little bit, but anyway.
BrendanKing(04:44): Oh my God. I did not witnessthat one. That's pretty hilarious.
JackPalermo(04:47):So always don't forget to checkout our blog of nine awesome things to do in Las Vegas in December. So one ofthe things is [inaudible 00:04:56] Chocolate Factory in Henderson. Super cool.Cactus gardens are all lit up. One of our agents, Caroline, was just there withher daughter, which was cool. There they are, Caroline and Maya. So yeah, it'sa really cool place. Another thing, and make their own chocolate there so youcan taste hot chocolate, little treats, candies.
BrendanKing(05:16): This is why we all gain 20pounds during Christmas.
JackPalermo (05:19): 100%.
BrendanKing(05:19): Ethyl M's is one of the nine onour blog, so of course, check out the site. We'll have the links below. Butyeah, we've got eight other things to do besides Ethyl M's. I think Cosmo's onthere and a bunch of other stuff.
JackPalermo(05:30): I betcha, Enchants' on there.
BrendanKing(05:32):I'm sure. Based on what I'veseen, I'm sure Enchant is on there. Of course, holidays means decorating andChristopher Todd, who is a celebrity home decorator, I guess is the go-to manfor this particular thing. It was in the review journal the other day. I guesshe's dawned a ton of celebrities homes for Christmas.
JackPalermo(05:56):Yeah.
BrendanKing(05:57):Not at my house. It's me and mywife.
JackPalermo(06:00):Right. Same here.
BrendanKing(06:01):But this is the design center, acouple pictures of the design center, another one of his design center. We havethis house on the ridges in Summerland, and supposedly his designs range anywherefrom 4,500 all the way up to $65,000, which I'm sure is probably a prettykiller Christmas setup.
JackPalermo(06:19):This one's in Kentucky righthere. Looks pretty insane. Yeah, $65,000 should do it.
BrendanKing(06:26):Yeah. Yeah, and he only does 10to 12 homes a year. So I guess he's the go-to guy for only 10 to 12 homes ayear for Christmas he does. So yeah. Pretty cool. Congrats.
JackPalermo(06:38):Here's Vanessa Williams' housein New York, which he did, which is pretty cool.
BrendanKing(06:42):Where's this one?

BrendanKing(06:43):Oh nice.
JackPalermo(06:44):It's pretty insane.

JackPalermo(06:46):And this one's in Nashville,this 28 foot wooden table designed by him, which is pretty crazy.
BrendanKing(06:52):Yeah. It's a pretty beautifulsetup that he has on all these homes. It's amazing.

BrendanKing(07:00):The thing about it is he seemsto have a theme throughout and it's extravagant.
JackPalermo(07:05):Not like my house. We just throwup anything. Hey. Well, it is actually Brendan's gift because this is episode25 and it's our silver anniversary.

BrendanKing(07:30):Always. It's beautiful.Everything that they change it to is awesome. Christmas is my favorite. Theyalways have the polar bears, which is awesome.
JackPalermo(07:37):It's just really cool. I loveit. I love taking my nephews there and other niece and nephew there. The kidsreally enjoy it.
BrendanKing(07:44):Yeah, and they always, everyholiday, every season they do an amazing job. It's always worth the look tocheck out the Bellagio. Of course we have a couple other things, Mary Crimson,this is a new one.
JackPalermo(07:58):It's was here last year. It'spretty cool though. They put the igloos outside now, which is kind of neat.
BrendanKing(08:03):Oh, that's why I didn'trecognize it. That's right. They did have it last year.
JackPalermo(08:06):Yeah. But it's really, reallycool. They have a ton of different drinks, which is pretty amazing. Here we go,they have the top 10 drinks. So number one, all my friends are snowflakes
BrendanKing(08:19):That one's hilarious. DearSanta, next year. I promise.
JackPalermo(08:26):Do you want to build a snowman?
BrendanKing(08:28):I never want to hear you singthat again. Gingerbread kiss and holiday wishes is another drink.

BrendanKing(08:39):My God. I guess that's a littletwist on, I saw mommy kissing Santa Claus.
JackPalermo(08:44):Yeah. It could be.
BrendanKing(08:44):It's like the opposite.
JackPalermo(08:45):Yeah, a little bit.
BrendanKing(08:46):One was wanted, one wasn't.
JackPalermo(08:48):It's definitely the opposite.

BrendanKing(09:27):It's over at area 15. It's TimBurton's Night Before ... oh my gosh. Nightmare before Christmas immersiveviewing experience. So it's all just different parts of the Burton classic andit's kind of a fun movie. My kids used to sing a song from that.
JackPalermo(09:44):Custom lights, custom cocktails.Sounds like fun.
BrendanKing(09:47):That used to be Jack's theme allthe time.
JackPalermo(09:50):Cocktails.
BrendanKing(09:52):And of course I am dressed forthe weather today.
JackPalermo(09:55):Yes, you are dressed for theweather today. So we got rain today. A little bit, a little drizzling outthere. But for Christmas Eve Christmas in the sixties, which is nice and itgets a little cooler on Monday or Sunday.
BrendanKing(10:07):And sixties for us is normal forwinter. It's pretty normal.
JackPalermo(10:11):Yeah.
BrendanKing(10:11):I saw in Mammoth, they'regetting like 130 inches of snow.
JackPalermo(10:15):Of snow. It's crazy.
BrendanKing(10:16):So your buddy, Sean, I'm surewe'll be seeing Instagram stories of him getting buried.
JackPalermo(10:20):I haven't checked, but I thinkhe was heading back to Chicago for the holidays. So I don't know if he got outor now.
BrendanKing(10:26):[crosstalk 00:10:26] Then I knowBrianheads going to have like 30 inches of snow. So it's going to be a wintryChristmas for sure if anybody's going to be in the mountains. I know Colorado'sgetting slammed too. Not here. We're just getting some rain.
JackPalermo(10:38):Little rain and 60 degrees.
BrendanKing(10:40):Yeah. Well, that's why youshould move to Vegas.
JackPalermo(10:42):We'll take it.
BrendanKing(10:46):Then this is a good idea thatDavid had, a little family Christmas tree BKG team rundown. So let's check outthe trees.

BrendanKing(12:50):A little bit of real estatenews, a little outside of the holiday news. Marc Andreessen and Ben Horowitzfrom the well known Andreessen Horowitz team of Equity Fund guys, they'reheating up to Las Vegas housing market. So they've been buying up luxuryproperties for a little while now. Both of them, I think neighbors to eachother, are trying to set records with the homes. The home set behind four gatessold for $14.5 million, a record sum for the area. Not to be outdone,Andreessen paid 36 more million for a swath of vacant land as well. So both ofthese guys are competing to buy whatever the heck they can.
JackPalermo(13:33):It seems like everything.
BrendanKing(13:35):Yeah. So Andreessen, Horowitzfame, for some reason, they are just as excited and juiced about the Vegasmarket as we are.
JackPalermo(13:46):Yes.
BrendanKing(13:46):If anything, we should learnfrom this, they are money guys. They're equity fund guys. They know where thedeals are. I think a lot of people are seeing that Vegas has been just kind ofa cheaper market compared to most of the west coast and they're takingadvantage of it. We'll see how that dual ends, but if they want to keep dueling,go ahead.
JackPalermo(14:07):Also, if they don't like theiragent, they can always give us a call.
BrendanKing(14:11):Yeah. So another thing is theLas Vegas Waterboard approves grass band for new development. So what's goingon with this?
JackPalermo(14:21):So yeah, I guess newerdevelopments aren't allowed to have grass in their properties. So it's eithersome kind of turf or you can do desert landscaping and rocks, but because ofthe water shortage, no grass.
BrendanKing(14:35):Back in the day, it used to bethat you could have grass in the front yard and then they actually outlawedthat I want to say in the mid to late 2000s. So I think this is just one morestep to protect the city from banning development completely.
JackPalermo(14:50):Yeah, water shortage, big watershortage.
BrendanKing(14:52):So I think it's a smart move. Itmeans people can't have grass in the backyard right?
JackPalermo(14:59):That's right. That's true.
BrendanKing(14:59):And also no pocket parks.
JackPalermo(15:01):Nope.
BrendanKing(15:01):Yeah. So wow. If you knowanything about Vegas developments in the past 10 years, that was the one areayou could have it is if you have little pocket park or if you had grass in thebackyard, but maybe they'll do artificial.
JackPalermo(15:15):Yeah.
BrendanKing(15:15):You know what, why don't they dosynthetic.
JackPalermo(15:18):It's not bad. It's not bad's.Turf's fine. It's green.
BrendanKing(15:19):Think about it. You pay forwater every single year, as opposed to once every 10 years having a syntheticturf.
JackPalermo(15:26):Right. It's interesting.
BrendanKing(15:28):I think that's the route theygo.
JackPalermo(15:30):We shall see.

Yeah.We shall see. No one knows what will happen with that. So of course we'removing on to sports.
JackPalermo(15:38): NHL pauses the season. Resumescheduled after Christmas break amid the COVID 19 cases that are popping upwith Omicron.
BrendanKing(15:48):Is that how you say it? I cannotremember how to say it.
JackPalermo(15:50):Omicron, something like that.Everybody knows what I'm talking about.
BrendanKing(15:54):Yeah. I don't know how to sayit.
JackPalermo(15:56):Anyway, but all NHL All-Starweekend is still planned for Vegas. The weekend is February 4th. So all thebest players in the league are going to take part. There's tons of stuff to do.Any All-Star weekend, there's just tons of stuff to do outside of this stadium,everything.
BrendanKing(16:10):Have you ever been to one?
JackPalermo(16:11):I have. It's pretty awesome.
BrendanKing(16:13):Back in the day?
JackPalermo(16:14):Back in the day.
BrendanKing(16:14):I haven't been to one ever. Sois it worth a lot of-
JackPalermo(16:17):Yeah. It's super fun.
BrendanKing(16:18):Nice.
JackPalermo(16:18):There's tons of stuff forfamilies and kids and everything too.
BrendanKing(16:21):Oh cool.
JackPalermo(16:22):But what's also cool that sameweekend is the NFL pro bowl at a Allegion Stadium across the street.
BrendanKing(16:26):Which is nuts. So both the NHLAll-Stars and NFL pro bowl are both going on, same weekend, same city.
JackPalermo(16:33):Crazy. Across the street.
BrendanKing(16:34):And both have similar events.Don't they do the quarterback challenge, all that?
JackPalermo(16:38):Oh yeah, it's crazy.
BrendanKing(16:39):The Pro Bowl's pretty fun too.Will they have people in the stands?
JackPalermo(16:45):We shall see. Yeah, we shallsee.
BrendanKing(16:46):As of now they do. Done, done,done.

BrendanKing(17:02):We had to dig out of a hole alittle bit. And finally with the Browns, they looked great.
JackPalermo(17:06):Yeah, they looked good.
BrendanKing(17:06):They looked really good.
JackPalermo(17:09):Yeah. The Browns are good team.
BrendanKing(17:10):They did have a third stringquarterback.
JackPalermo(17:12):They did.
BrendanKing(17:12):I'm not going to lie.
JackPalermo(17:12):They did, but hey, a win's awin. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. So anyway, they're playing theBroncos. They're dealing with injuries right now. Playing the Broncos thisweekend, the day after Christmas, and it's a rivalry game. That's an indivision game. So 125 Legion Stadium. Be there or be square.
BrendanKing(17:30):Yeah. This needs to happen. Ithink we need to cross our fingers. Not just cross our fingers. They just needto do it. The next three games are massive. So hopefully we can lock down thesethree and then we have a 90% chance.
JackPalermo(17:43):Yeah. 90% chance of making theplayoffs if we win the next three games.
BrendanKing(17:46):Go Raiders, come on.
JackPalermo(17:48):[inaudible 00:17:48] Colts andChargers.

BrendanKing(18:18):Yeah, like a brewery, a rooftopdeck. It looks like the left side of the building there will be the originalconstruction with that barrel roof. If anybody doesn't know a Huntridge is,it's an old, old, old cabaret theater that's been in Vegas forever. It used tobe a movie theater. I think then they did rock shows and then it closed down.They kind of tried to open it again and then it just never opened. Thankfully,Jay Dapper's working on getting this thing going and Soho Playhouse is going tobe the one to do.

BrendanKing(18:50):Yeah. Yeah. Smart to put a venueand an eating establishment right next door to each other because, even aroundthere, there's not something really close. But it is a classic building. It'san awesome kind of art deco style. Really cool. Great job Dapper Company'sgetting that going. Can't wait to see what you guys do with it.

JackPalermo(19:14):Weezer. Performing a freeconcert right outside of the T-Mobile Arena in the strip next month. DroneRacing League announced that Weezer will perform at the final race of the2021/22 DRL world championship season on Wednesday, January fifth. So rightaround CES time.
BrendanKing(19:33):Yep. That's cool. Have you everwatched one of these drone races?

BrendanKing(19:41):It's pretty insane. These guys,some of them have goggles. Some of them use whatever. I think all of them havegoggles, but they race these drones at like ... I don't know how fast is. I'dbe lying if I said the speed. Let's say 40 miles an hour.

BrendanKing(19:54):They fly them through stadiumsthrough these rings.
JackPalermo(19:58):Yeah.
BrendanKing(19:58):And they have to hit all theirpoints. Just like you see in video games. It's pretty cool.
